Everyone Needs A Day of Rest

The snow is gone now and I'm trying to catch up on some much needed rest.

Hey, I'm a hard worker and I do need my beauty sleep.

Yesterday I visited my friend Nemo. He's a little older than I am and not exactly the best playmate but we did have fun chasing each other and playing hide and seek under the furniture.

My family has been busy with some inside house painting and it's my job to make sure they don't miss any spots. From my point of view I can see all those lower areas they might miss. Someone else has to eye the top part though cause I am only eight inches high.

I've also been busy keeping an eye on the birds and their feeders. It's my job to let the family know when the feeders need refilling. I try to keep them well fed...No I don't chase them. I just enjoy watching them.

Got to run for now. It's time for my walk.

Snow Day

Yesterday I was surprised to wake up to a yard full of white, cold stuff. I've never seen this stuff before but boy I sure love it. On my walk I was able to run and jump thru this soft fluffy mixture my family calls snow. I had a great time and can't wait for my next walk. The snow stuck to my nose and belly and between my toes. Trying to do my bathroom business was a little tuff but my family cleared some of the yard for me. They sure are considerate.

I saw a lot of beautiful sights on my walk and I'd like to share them with you. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

This is the small lake in our park next to my home. In the summer we have ducks visit and I can't wait to meet them. The park has a lot of walking trails and I love meeting new friends who also enjoy the park. I especially enjoy the ones that have four legs like me.
This is the fence that runs between my home and the park.  Pretty cool! I can't wait to get out today and knock some of that snow off the fence rails. Time for me to get my family out and about. I need a good run.
